‘Call Me Bud’ is a new book covering the film career of Jack Lemmon. It is neither a biography nor a film-by-film reference book but seeks to examine this incredibly long and illustrious career through a range of themes including genre and personal relationships.

Although there have been several comprehensive books previously published about Lemmon, 'Call Me Bud' seeks to add to these by examining his films from the perspective of the early 21st century and also in covering his entire career from the early 50’s right through to the end of the 20th century.
